📖 The Story Behind This Dish

Believed to have spread from Colombia's Caribbean coast, this fried green plantain dish is fried once, smashed flat, then fried again for extra crunch. Popular simply salted as a snack on its own.

🌆 Where it's eaten: A common side to meat dishes, or simply salted and enjoyed alongside a cold beer.
